My Community Projects
As Mogaji Aikulola-Aibinuomo I, I am dedicated to uplifting the Aikulola-Aibinuomo family and the wider Ibadan community through transformative projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Current initiatives include:
- Establishment of an Arabic and Islamic School for Knowledge Development
- Construction of a one-storey Central Mosque
- Skill acquisition and artisan empowerment programmes
- Tree planting and environmental restoration initiatives
- Drainage channel construction for erosion control
- Ita Abigbo beautification project
- Formation of cooperative societies for traders and artisans
- Chairmanship of the Ibadan Needs Assessment Committee under the IDRC Project
Beyond my compound, my contributions to Ibadan include:
- Facilitating scholarships for Ibadan indigenes at Summit University
- Sponsoring educational programmes for youth empowerment
- Chairing the Education Sub-Committee for the 2026 Ibadan Week Celebration
- Championing the academic promotion of Ibadan’s heritage
- Supporting initiatives contributing to the realisation of Ibadan State
My Intent and Vision
It is my sacred obligation to preserve our cultural pride, strengthen unity, and sustain the progress of Ibadanland. With my experience in education, innovation, and leadership, I am committed to contributing meaningfully to the Olubadan-in-Council while upholding the ideals of humility, fairness, and progress.
Future initiatives include:
- Establishment of two technology incubation hubs for digital skills development among youths
- Provision of two additional boreholes at Ita Abigbo for clean water access
- Launch of an annual Ibadan Youth Innovation Challenge to nurture creativity
- Digitisation of Ibadan’s historical archives for preservation and global access
- Creation of an empowerment fund for widows and artisans
