Abiodun Musa Aibinu (Ph.D.) is a distinguished "AcadoPreneur," renowned for his dynamic career and expertise in Mechatronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, teaching, research, and Grantsmanship. A highly motivated career-driven achiever, he seamlessly combines academic brilliance with entrepreneurial acumen.
Currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Summit University, Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria, Professor Aibinu is also a celebrated academic in Mechatronics Engineering. Professor Aibinu is a multi-award-winning academic and researcher. He has participated in and won several awards at various international and national exhibitions. He was nominated for the 2012 promising researcher award and best teacher award at IIUM Malaysia. In 2017, AcadoPreneur Aibinu was one of the recipients of the highly prestigious Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Research and Development award. Also, in 2019, he was honored with the SERVICOM Excellence Award by Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria, in recognition of his selfless services and contributions to the development of the institution and the country at large. In 2021, he received the Vice-Chancellor Excellence Award.

Additionally, he has facilitated and championed several successful fundraising initiatives over the past 20 years for community-based non-profit organizations focused on improving communities, building capacity, advancing human development, and supporting underserved individuals in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda.
He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in prestigious local and international journals and conferences, with several of his works receiving high citations within the academic community. His diverse research interests include Digital Signal and Image Processing, Information and Communication Technology, Robotics, Process Automation, Intelligent System Development, and Clean Energy Generation.
Professor Aibinu is deeply committed to teaching, supervision, mentoring, and research across various universities within and beyond Nigeria. He has served as a keynote speaker, invited lecturer, convocation and graduation speaker, expert talk facilitator, discussant, panelist, trainer, coach, and mentor at numerous events. He also serves as a valuable research resource to notable institutions, including the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Nigerian Army (NA), National Defence Headquarters, and other distinguished organisations.
He is the Mogaji of the Aikulola-Aibinuomo Family, Itaabigbo, Oke Mapo, Ibadan, a title signifying extended family leadership, representation at the Olubadan's palace, and a step toward becoming the town's paramount ruler, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oyo State, Nigeria.
